“…it’s clear they focus a lot on the technical side of things – making sure the music sounds full, making sure they get the notes right – but listening to them perform live, one doesn’t get that impression. Prato, believe it or not, seems to find a way to dance to the beat while still plucking his large, upright bass. McKee keeps the audience engaged effortlessly with banter between songs, and after each track the pair looks at each other with an expression of triumph.”

Best possible choice for our wedding day. The Big North Duo were incredible! They went above and beyond to make our wedding ceremony and reception fun and romantic. They learned and performed “our song” and I love it more than the original! My only regret is not getting it recorded on video- they were perfect acoustic “background music” and also a great swinging time for folks who wanted to dance! Great communication, gracious and self-directed… I feel so very lucky we were able to book them.
